This day was so special. We indulged in everything we love: family, friends, food/drink, good music and most importantly, each other. When planning our wedding, we knew the venue would set the tone for the entire day. What are the chances we would pass this very venue on our walks around the neighborhood? I was always drawn to the architecture of the Edgeworth Club each time we passed. Soon after, we knew this was it. We wanted a place that could host the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception in the same location. The character and charm felt like home. All the other details fell into place after that. I’m convinced I am somehow going to wear this dress again because I love it so much. Funny thing about the dress is, I never tried it on before buying it. Yeah, I know, sounds a little crazy. This was my favorite dress from the Hayley Paige collection online. I tried on a lot of dresses, all gorgeous, but none of them felt like “the one”. My heart was definitely set on this dress; I took the risk and I am so glad I did. Any brides out there, I highly suggest checking out Hayley Paige’s line. Seriously, they are all amazing. Well, ok, now some love for my husband – his passion is music and he is so talented. We agreed on having a band because what better way to celebrate than with live music?! The Bachelor Boys were incredible and made the night so much fun. Another way we incorporated his love for music is by having our guests sign vinyl records to serve as our guest book. Each record is framed and is apart of a gallery wall in Ryan’s music room. We can enjoy seeing our guest book everyday and not to mention, is a great way to decorate a music room! Now the real tear jerker, Ryan surprised us all performing a song written for me (pictured above). Grab your tissues, you can watch it here.
All our love,
Caroline and Ryan
