April Moodboard

Happy April! It’s finally starting to feel like springtime as we reach warmer climates here in PA.  You know what that means? Patio season. There’s just something about ending your day outside that is so refreshing.  We use our grill religiously so we look forward to yummy dishes served on the patio with a beverage in hand.  So, its about time to get the furniture cleaned and styled!  I’ve got a head start on that, and now I’m considering plant options.  I recently adopted a Birds of Paradise indoor plant (shown above) and I love it – just feeding my obsession with all things palm.  I’ve slowly been incorporating color into my home as it feels more like springtime.  With Easter approaching, it’s all about the warm pastels.  How amazing is the bedroom above?  THAT HEADBOARD.  THOSE COLORS.  Ah.  Along with warm pastels, I’m bringing out my favorite straw accessories.  Finally!  Straw is my absolute favorite material.  Have you seen the new Stockholm collection at Ikea?  Lots of rattan beauties.  I’ve been swooning over the cabinet above for quite some time and it would be the best addition to our bedroom.  It’s on my list!  The rattan bench from the collection could be used in several different ways.  I think it would be awesome at the foot of a bed, but you could use it as a coffee table or in an entryway.
