The month of love – but really, not just because of Valentine’s Day. Ryan and I started dating in February of our freshman year of college. The dating anniversary kind of faded out this year since we’re married, but we still use it as an excuse to go out and grab dinner together. Also, not to mention, it’s my nephew’s birth month. SO MUCH LOVE. What are your plans this Valentine’s Day? It’s always 50/50 for us whether we decide to have a night in or go out. Stay in – cook or order take-out, have dessert handy, pour the wine, light some candles, watch a show, and give Cruz all our attention. This year we’re thinking a night out. We only live a couple blocks from town so its convenient to walk to all the restaurants. No date? No problem. My best friend, Christina, and I used to spend every Valentine’s Day together. Our senior year of high school, she even came on my date with me LOL! Ok, we’re weird. But really, make a girl’s night of it or spend it with family – whoever you love! I’m all about the color pink right now after a long January of black and whites. On that note, I’m absolutely craving warmer weather. Don’t get me wrong, I actually love the snow and typically embrace winter. I’m just itching for spring style: girlfriend jeans, pastels, totes, and a classic pair of slides. I’ve linked some pieces down below. All of my girlfriend jeans are from Abercrombie so definitely check their selection – they’re simply the best.
